Quarantine Boxes

Quarantine Boxes are intimate, reflective works that show tiny viruses clustering inside old boxes decorated with cyanotype print images. These small wooden boxes have been designed for smaller and more intimate exhibition spaces and, whilst directly influenced by my Memorialising Disease project they have found their own identity as repositories of memory containing memorabilia and small ceramic viruses and bacteria. In 2019 a selection of these boxes were exhibited at the Worcester Medical Museum and now feature on their website.

Very nice artworks, I love them very much. So unique, so interesting, so multidisciplinary…
