Quarantine Boxes

Quarantine Boxes are intimate, reflective works that show tiny viruses clustering inside old boxes decorated with cyanotype print images. These small wooden boxes have been designed for smaller and more intimate exhibition spaces and, whilst directly influenced by my Memorialising Disease project they have found their own identity as repositories of memory containing memorabilia and small ceramic viruses and bacteria. In 2019 a selection of these boxes were exhibited at the Liverpool Medical Institute, and  Worcester Medical Museum where they now feature on the museum’s website.

Very nice artworks, I love them very much. So unique, so interesting, so multidisciplinary…
